Default Hi all, I am wondering if this camaro is a good buy

Hi everyone at the forum.

I must admit that i was originally going to purchase a mustang, but my commitment is wavering.

This is the car that I just came across and I am tempted to buy it. Keep in mind that I am 18 without any previous car experience besides a jeep wrangler.

Camaro 1995 v6 automatic. Garage kept, pristine condition inside and out.
101k miles on it, with a sick purple and black paint job. Price $2500

Is this as good of a deal as I think it might be?

I would say thats a fair price, but the 1995 Camaro came with a pretty weak V6 if you don't mind that.

My first camaro was a 1994 v6. Good little car, but wasn't very fast, even with headers and a a cat-back.

Sounds like a good deal though? Any pics of the car?

yeah its a good deal, id pick it up cuz i know i could flip it for a grand or so around here, and a camaro is always a better choice than a mustang

Camaro is much better then a Mustang (Bias...maybe) If your looking for a car that looks good but wont get you into too much trouble unless you try hard, I would pick it up. just make sure everything is in order, some people are good at making things look pristine.

@darknight, well i played. My 3000gt v6 had me doin some dumb stuff when I was a lil younger. so I know where your coming from, but I definately dont have to try as hard in my z28 as I did in my 3000gt.

It is hard to say for sure if this is a good car or not. The best suggestion is to take it to a place to have it checked over. We used to have a place called Lemon Busters here. They would check out the car, but would not do any repairs. This helped to prevent them from trying to gouge people with repair bills that were not necessarily needed.

I don't know if you have any place around you like that, but a reputable garage would be just as good.

And the owner of the car should not object if he/she has nothing to hide.

Good luck with this.
