hey wats up guys,im kinda disapointed i ran my car yesterday only once,too many cars!at the california speedway in fontana. i ran a 13.7 i had a bad launch,i ran against an ss just like mine except he had a diablo tunner and slicks and auto.i have a 2002 ss slp pweter 6 speed with hooker long tube,mass airflow,air lid and full exha.this week i plan on getting a pulley,160 thermo,and some bf drag radials.what would you guys expect from those mods and this weeks new mods?just curious.by the way the other car ran a 13.2 we were both going 105mph

If you both trapped at the same speed you have similar HP numbers, it sounds like you need to work on getting it off the line correctly. Compare your 60' time with his, that's where he won the race.

 

what is your elevation? I was trapping 104 last time i went to the track, and I only have an intake and catback.

my best run at the 1/8 track was 8.5 wat do u think that would run 1/4.as for elevation i dont know it was in fontana cali,and it was about 85-90 degrees.

 

with your mph you should be able to break a 12.9. You definately need to work on launching. What tires were you running? Suspension?
