Default help please!

okay so i have posted already but no reply.. i have a steady misfire and i have re wired everything but. the main thing i can tell u is that i bought brand new spark plug wires put them in and it ran great! drove down the road and bam misfire started again! what the hell ?? and before then i could get it to stop misfiring by moving spark plug wires around but now i cant get it to stop at all

Can you give use a clue as to what year and engine we are talking about? You rewired the whole car?

94 v6 3.4L and re ran the wire harness all with black tape

also my alternator is shooting sparks out of it and when u first start the car it charges really high then drops to normal after a lil driving

Sounds like you waited too long on the wires and you over heated the coils. (bad wire cause hight voltage.) The coils are failing internally. Spark tester would help track it down.

Ok, I may not be a jeenyus all the time, but I can tell you your alternator shouldn't be shooting out sparks. It could be shorting out the electrical system, or causing a voltage spike, depending on what's wrong. I'd get that alternator problem taken care of first, it could be related to your misfire problem. Have the alternator checked. If it checks out alright, look to your wiring as the problem.

This makes since. thank you very much im going to see slowly see about getting a new wire harness, or making one some how, and new alternator. and coils. and see from there what happens
