Help! I have a 94 firebird wire harness trying to make fit on a 96 camaro, possible?

Default Help! I have a 94 firebird wire harness trying to make fit on a 96 camaro, possible?

Hello everyone, iam still new to this and this seems like the best place to ask questions on camaros. My 96 harness got burned in areas from my headers. So i bought a 94 firebird parts car well i should of done some research cuz iam missing plug c105. Does anyone have some advice or came across this problem yet.

94 is obdI and 96 obdII, harness will be different.

Much easier to repair your burn harness then to reto the 94 into the 96.

We are talking Lt1?

Yes lt1, ive been doin searching around and have found that a couple people have made this work iam jus not to familiar with witch wires to tap into. So how does the obd1 and 2 effect at the end result?

You are going to have to figure all that out. You can make anything work you can also fix anything. IMO fixing you old is going to be a lot easier then retroing a different harness. There are no books on how to put a 94 harness in a 96. There are books on how to repair your 96 harness, its call a repair manual. It tells you where everything goes, all you need a some good wire , solder and shink fit. Manual are free for download in the manual section.
