I just got this 1995 camaro 3.4L and have called some parts stores to find out that they can't get a engine rebuild kit for the 3.4L. The engine runs, but it is burning oil. Anybody know where I may find a rebuild kit? I have priced grooms and jasper, and thet are way too high for me. Any help would be great!!! Thanks

 

post in the v6 section and ull get some great responses. have u looked to see if summit or jegs has one. i know summit has a gasket kit for the lt1. u will want to wait on some parts like the pistons rings and bearings. may have to have it bored out and the crank may need turned down. are u sure its not a leaky intake?

 

Well I have not seen any oil around the intake, but that doesn't mean that it's not. Thanks for the input I will repost it in the v6 forum..
