Help finding Car in CT area
Looking for a 1990-2003 Chevy Camaro, T-tops and V8 only, manual transmission only, under 100k miles, all i want for the body is that it has no rust. I want the car to have no problems or very minor problems. Color of car does not matter. I am looking to spend Under 5,000. If you have this type of car please respond by message.

I would love to see a 2003 Camaro... They didnt make them... Anyway the best place to find what you are looking for is Craigslist. Here in the PNW there is no shortage of Camaros on there. 90-02 is a HUGE year range and spans 2 generations. Also 4th Gen cars are built around their power train so engine swaps are not easy. So what are you planning on doing with this car?

I meant 2002, half asleep when i typed it. Basically I want to learn how to do everything on the car. I plan on buying it and first start replacing everything expect for the major things (eng, trans). Like the alternator, starter, spark plugs. All the minor stuff. And then move on to a cold-air intake, Exhaust system, Re-enforced everything. Then eventually put a body kit on it and ect. Supercharger as well. It will be a definite project car. The thing is, I love Camaros. I had a 1996 6cyl rs and it was quick but the V8 is what I am really after. Not really into imports though I can appreciate them. But first things first, gotta find a ride.

Well, if you can't find anything that fits your exact necessary specs, I know a guy in Durham with a 3.8 v6, t-tops... Unfortunately, it's an automatic. I think he's selling it for about 2500. I drive by it every day, and it appears to be in good shape.

I know this is a camaro forum but if I were to get an LS1 vehicle, it would be the Trans Am. I love the looks of the 98-02 trans am

man alive in CLE its super hard to find a pristine camaro with a V8 and T56 for under 5....i found a listing for a 2002 SS convertible (ew) in pewter colour (ew). they wanted $12,000 for it. and heres the kicker- thats what its worth. it was in great shape
dont put a body kit on it... in my opinion there is NO such thing as a good looking body kit.. they never fit right unless its a $5,000 veilside kit.
