Default Help with buying camaro

I am looking to get a new car so I have been looking around recently. I found a 1997 Z28 Camaro near me. He wants $3500 for it. It has 150,000, is lowered, and has a Cold air intake. It is a 6 speed with a t-top. Do you guys think it is a good buy? Thanks

Also, is there anything I should be aware of on this year and model or Camros in general? Is there anything I should look for in the car when I go to see and drive it? Thanks

well... according to KBB in excellent condition this car is worth about 5500$ so as long as the car runs great and looks good its a good deal

i bought my car for 4500$ and its a 95 3.4L 5 speed with 115xxx miles (according to kbb its worth about 6500$)

well as all cars the Z has its issues like the opti (the distributer) but i dont think you can check that out too well make sure you look under the car for rust as about 80% of the outside is fiberglass (the only steel is the hood and the rear fenders) also i always put a car thru a rigorous test drive taking corners hard flooring it braking hard that kind of stuff so if there is a problem you can feel it also if hes asking 3500$ (i assume your paying in full) walk up with cash not a check and offer him 2800$ and see what happens cash talks and its loud as hell

Well the thing is, he is already asking 4000. I asked him if he would take 3, he said 3500 is the lowest he would go

Check for t-top leaks by taking it through a car wash if possible.
