just put in a new fuel pump racetronix 255. there was a 255 already in it. now the car only starts and will idle rough and then die after 15 sec. has new wires, plugs, and opti. its getting spark fuel presure is at 45 psi when running.

 

did you replace the fuel filter?

I have have put a new fuel filter and I have taken all the gas out of the gas tank and put new gas I'n it

no codes. check engine light is off

 

have you had the injectors cleaned and flow tested yet. not very expensive. mine cost like 30 bucks counting shipping, im in the middle of nowhere. anyways had them back in 4 days. have you told us all of whats been done and what new parts you have installed?

 

haven't had the injectors cleaned and flow tested. when the car starts i spayed some starting fluid in it to see if it would make the engine rev. it just dies.

 

well then its a spark problem. i would have the coil and ignition module tested. it may be that your getting good spark at first then it drops or could just be weak spark. is your tach working?

 

how can u test the coil and ignition module.
