why is it when my camaro is in park it revs by it self

Sounds like something is stuck or sensor is funky -- any codes?

nah no codes do u think it could b the egr valve

what mods, what motor, when did it start? any ses lights? have u looked to see if any stored trouble codes? check for vacumm leaks.

wow dude than its probly something in your throttle linkage maybe idle adjustment screw. thats the only thing i can think of that would make it do that.

Maybe your throttle positioning sensor has gone bad!! I found an easy way to test it with an ohmeter on autorepair.about.com. (Rough Running Caddy article) It may be bad and not give you a code at all according to the article I read.
