Well, I'll openly admit I know next to nothing about performance parts that are available for the V6, but a cold-air intake would net you a handful, (not sure about header availability) but you could put a larger exhaust.
What really matters is your budget. How much HP do you want, and how much are you willing to spend?

well rite now I got a small budget till I get a new job soon then it will be like 2k to 3k she wants to delete the emissions and make bout 20 to 50 more hp if possible she got racing fever now and so I want to beef up the v6 and trans and suspension

Headers are a good upgrade on the 98 assuming you already have a free flowing Cat back system. By intake you mean a CAI I assume? GT Cam would be next along with a Tune. That should get you your 50 ponies plus a little.
Just a little warning about Cams, the meaner the Cam the higher RPMs you need to see the extra power. A high lift CAM will give the most HP at 6000+ RPMs but it will reduce the HP at 2500 RPMs. In normal dirving they car will feel like it has less HP.
