Question Headlight Conversion?

i have a 94 Z28 and the headlights are just too dull for me to drive comfortably at night. Does anybody know if i could use stock 98-02 headlights or aftermarket 98-02 lights on my 94 if i made a custom bracket to hold them?

not likely. the 93-97 cars have sealed beams. if brightness is the issue, look at either getting brighter lights or doing a HID conversion. I seriously doubt the 98-02 headlights will work. Even if you did manage to get them hooked up, they probably wouldn't fit between the bumper and the hood. Not to mention it would look absolutely terrible. Just look for 93-97 light upgrades.

you can convert your front bumber to worrk with the newer style bumber but you would have to change a lot of things.

this is what i found but since either im not a member or its old the pics wont work http://www.ls1lt1.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2687

this one is better http://www.bfranker.badz28.com/fbody...ontendto98.htm

Default HID's

Does anybody have a photo of how the HID's look on a '93-97 Camaro? I was thinking of doing this as the factory ones are a little yellowy and kind of dim. They work ok, but I was thinking of installing Silverstars. HID would be nice, but I'm wondering how they would work on high beam. As everybody knows, the high beam mode lights up two sets of lights. Do you disconnect the inside set and just not use them. or do you run 4 ballasts and lights to all the headlight sets. Can somebody clear this up please? I'm a little under experienced in this area. Thanks!

you run hid to what ever lights you want them to they wont tie into any other lights.
Do not put them on the high beam cuz you usually just flash them on and off and that will cause them to lose life really fast.
You leave whatever lights that arent HID the way they are.
if you look in my photo album there are pictures of my HID lights there

thetal1, those HIDs look sick on your blue ride! I also dig your tail bowtie. I don't normally like lighting mods (especially neons under the car, etc), but your car looks sweet!
