Default Headlight Bulb Replacement on 93-97 (NOT THE WHOLE HOUSEING!!)

Okay so I read up on how to do this, its SO freaking easy! it takes 10-20 mins, and an hour to cure.. The results are BEYOND amazing!! Simply removed your existing housing like you normally would. Pry off the round plastic cover holding the stock bulb in the housing, after its removed, just twist the bulb real hard, and it comes right out. Clean your housing with a metal brush or a dremel. Buy "Super Copper" silicon from your local auto part store (holds up to 700°F!!) and line the inside of the housing where the bulb and housing make contact. Then line the flat edge where the butt of the bulb meets the housing. WITH PRECISION, place your 9006 HID or Halogen (any 9006 style bulb) in the hole and hold tight for 90 seconds. Place a bead of silicon where the bulb and housing meet, spread and let cure. NOTE: DO NOT TOUCH BULB'S WITH YOUR FINGERS, DON'T LET THEM TOUCH ANYTHING IF POSSIBLE, ESPECIALLY THE SILICON!!! project complete =)

the 9006 fit pretty snug, you silicon to keep them in place (there is nothing to keep it from getting pulled out, no cover or anything) and to also prevent moisture from getting in the bulb and fogging up the inside. Here are my pictures. Low beam (9006 bulb) new high output. High beam (9005 Bulb) stock yellow peice of crap

they are from a local store here.. if you want I can go pick some up and send em to ya bro.

i know what you mean about no street lights, i live IN THE MIDDLE OF NO WHERE. There is no such thing as a street light for at least 40 miles.. And we have deer REALLY REALLY bad.. I've hit 7 deer in 6 years.. GO ME lol.. Had a Firebird WS-6, 9 days old, totaled because of a deer.. beleive me.. i know lighting! lol

i PMed ya my info, shoot me an email and if u want ill go grab some of them lights for ya. they are 32 bucks a pair, so 64 bucks for all 4 lights.

They are white with a slight blue tint to them. They are so much better than the stock yellow lights.. I'm in love hahaha
I am going to buy my high beams on saturday, so if you want me to pick some up for you, paypal me some money and i'll ship them to you monday.

here is another shot I took, slightly different angle, but still shows the color of the bulb..
Look at the reflection on the black plastic below the lights, its truly white.
However within the next couple months I'm just going to switch to true HIDs.. they are 350 bucks a pair installed with a 1 year warranty from this performance shop I got the lights from, but well worth it.. they run at 35watts, and last a lot longer than normal bulbs ever will. These low beams are running at 80 watts, the high beams will run 100 watts
