Headers
Stuff that needs to be removed before you start unbolting anything:
Starter
Alternator + accessory belt
Oil dipstick
EGR tube
AIR fittings
Plugs
Wires
Steering knuckle
Use lots of penetrating oil. You'll need header gaskets, clamps, red RTV... it would also be a good idea to drain/change the oil, plugs, and wires.
Do you plan on keeping the emissions equipment? It's more trouble than it's worth.

the 02 sensors are known for failing after installing new headers. sooo run the old ones for a time and see how it goes. need to burn off whatever it is thats on the inside the headers. be prepared to replace them.
just changed the spark plugs... was a hassle to say the least. Ill probably do the motor mounts now that you mention it.
brand new 02 sensor already. supposedly. lol.
