Default header ???

i have a 95 camaro. iv just put a new exhaust on it and all, and i want to finish it off with headers. im kinda stuck between pacesetter or kooks. i know kooks is better but im not sure if i want to spend that kinda money just yet. and i was curious as to what 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 pipes mean. cause the reason i was debateing on the 2 is cause i plan on in the years to come do more work and eventually need 1 7/8 headers. and wasnt sure if i should spend the extra money now or wait till then. so if anyone has any helpfull information id much appreciate it. also some other info. iv had it bored to a 383 stroker, and after i do headers i was gonna get the heads and intake ported and put a new cam in that time as welll.

i think that means the pipes are oval shaped. 1 3/4 x 1 7/8. so what kind of rotating assembly did u go with on the stroke?

i got the eagle stoker kit. all forged. ah ok, i never even thought of it being like that. thanks for telling me. it just cunfused me abit when they said 2 sizes in one. i was thinkging it started one size and went to another size. i feel a bit dumb now lol. so what would you probly sugest in a size of headers to get. thats my big question cause iv been told if i get to big of a pipe befor i need it then i would loose power. is that true?

i dont know either, the headers could be a step up and go from small to big. if so i dont know how that will effect the performance. lloyd may have an idea. he said to stay away from them for my project so i never looked into it.
