Looking for hatch for my 97 is not a SS just base do I need with or without spoiler extensions on the quarter panel one?

 

Unless the car came with the RPO Y3F, I don't believe any Camaros were equipped with spoiler extensions. The picture below is an illustration from the parts manual. I would check the Service Parts Identification label on the driver door for the Y3F RPO. As you see, the RS spoiler is mounted on top of the standard spoiler and extensions are not needed unless the car was equipped with the RS option.
