Default Happy Thanksgiving! & update sorta ;)

I know many of you have wondered "what happened to that girl who had the car who refuses to believe her head gaskets are bad"?? lol Well I dont know what was or is wrong with the car but it's not losing coolant anymore. So now do you think it was HG? Do they just "fix themselves"? I've driven it some here lately and it's holding the coolant (not needing any) in both radiator and reservoir.

Another subject, it had a Sony HU in it when I bought it. I wanted to change it so we pulled the Pioneer from our wrecked car. It has the same exact connection on both HU's but the Pioneer wont turn on in my car. What would be wrong with that?

intake gasket can do that, not common and usually goes back to leaking at a bad time. leaking hose can do it, failing water pump can stop leaking for a short time, radiator or heater core can be failing and stop leaking for a sort time.
i would say the stereo is toast. is that a stock stereo, it may need to be unlocked.

The stereo works in the other camaro. I just pulled it out and put it in mine and it wont even power on.

As for the leak, I know the water pump is pretty new. I've had the car 2 years nearly and haven't put many miles on it at all (been in shop most of time). It was changed just before I bought it. Dont know about the rest but I wont be driving it much anyway and once I get the holidays behind me, I'll take her back to her dr and see if they can pinpoint the problem.

something is different, may have to check to see what was in it from the factory and what was in the other one from the factory. it may be one is not wired the same as the other.
