I think by gingerbread he means quite a few accessories of personal choice (body kit, wheel selection, rear wing/spoiler).
I'm not a fan of the wing or wheels, but thats what makes every person's car unique.
I have the headlight covers too and I love the look...i generally remove them at nite and use my clear ones (yes I carry two different sets with me) because its just not enough light...even with my eurolamps.

Just a heads up, check your local laws. Here in PA head lights must be soild mounted and require fine adjustment. You also have to be able to mount standard headlight alignment tools to them. Here this mod is not even close to passing inspection.
