Monte Carlos never had an LT1 stock. If your talking about a 5th gen the biggest engine they had was a 3.8L and the biggest engine in the 6th gen was a 5.3LLS4. However the 4th gen Montes had 5.7L LM1 and oddly enough a diesel 5.7LLF9 which was an olds engine that lasted from 78 to 85.

autostick is the transmission that u shift gears with out a clutch similar to a auto

 

Spec you're usually pretty knowledgable about most subjects but I've never known a Monte to have a LT1.

 

are you sure? i thought the older ones had them and then they went to v6 only the same time the impalas did [&:]
