all these special packages when the car doesnt even have leather interior. i am guessing its a regular run of the mill black z28....

 

Actually, technically the 1LE package came with a cloth interior for weight reduction[&o]
the Y3F package or whatever is just the visual package like the RS Camaros had, so if it's a legit 1LE it could...key word could...be a 1 of 1, but still...

 

i have yet to see a one of one car that was not loaded. No power locks, no power windows, t-tops, and so on. i think its a joke

 

Like I said before, all part of the 1LE package to decrease weight.

 

i think bainfluence told me that the 1le is a basic options package, for weight reduction, there was something like 45 in 97. dont know any other years though. was also a dirt cheap car.

The 1LE was actually for "extreme performance enthusiasts only." It included a performance suspension as well as only basic interior for weight reduction. In 1993-1995 the cars did not even include A/C due to the weight, in 1996 they started including A/C on the 1LE cars. The LT1 1LE Camaro also came with a different intake elbow that did not have the "Donkey Dong" on it to help improve intake flow, but sacrificing noise.

 

yea, thats pretty much what bad told me, cept that they were also dirt cheap due to not havign any options. i found a 97 once, only reason i know, and i beleave bad said there was 45 in 97. so possible to be only 1 actually.

 

The 1LE performance package was an aditional $1175+ on top of the sticker price.
There were 48 1LE packages in 1997.
