Default Groan noise from rear brakes?

hello all

quick question here. I am havings some issues diagnosing the groan/creak sound from my rear brakes. When I apply the brakes and shift into reverse it makes a groan/creak noise. There arent anY sounds when driving and but in do get intermittent pull when sTopping . . I recently replaced the rotors, pads and greased the slide pins. The sounds stopped for a while and now its back. I also noticed a ring going through the middle of the rear right rotor. BEfore i go buying new calipers and all iam wondering what this could be? Bad lines or sticking rotors possibly? Thanks

If anything, it sounds like a caliper is stuck. If possible, jack up the rear of your car and take the wheels off.

Run the car and have someone apply the breaks. Watch whats happening to see where the problem is.

Can you get a pic of the right rear rotor? Sounds like something got in there and cutting a groove into it. The pull would come from the front. Check your brake hoses as well.

I agree it does feel like the caliper is sticking. I ordered some hoses going to throw those on this weekend. May just order the calipers and do that as well so I don't have to take everything off again if it keeps sticking. I also noticed as well that the groan noise goes away after the brakes have warmed up from the stop and go. dry slide pins won't cause these symptoms or collapsed hose? I will take a pic of the rotor, The groove is pretty deep

here is an image of the groove in the rear driver rotor. Prior to ordering new calipers if need be. Does this look like a rotor that should be replaced? The other side looks fine

I'd replace the rotor or at the very least have a shop resurface it if the groove isn't too far into it. I would also check everything on that side to make sure your new stuff doesn't get the same result.

best to have it measured and turned if it has the steel on it. now days most times you get one turn. call around and see what the charge is to have them done and compare to new

I will just buy another rotor. No one around my way machines them anymore. I think I'm going to replace just the hoses and rotor for now and see what the results are if they still groan I'll hit the calipers up. Thanks again all and I will post updates
