Default Grinding sound from rear of car HELPPP

I had a nasty spinout the other day and ended up on a curb. Ever since then my car makes a creaking/grinding sound when driving straight going from 0-15mph. Its a rotating sound like when the wheels are spinning? Driveshaft maybe?? I dont hear any sounds when turning. The hubcap is cracked, i put the spare tire on to see if that may have been causing the sound but thats not the case. Any ideas on what it may be???? BTW Its a 95 Z28

Bent axle, and now the rear brakes or the drum/rotor is dragging as the assembly wobbles. This is speculation, but probably what you're looking at. Drive the car, hang your head out the window, and see if the tire is wobbling. You didn't say which side you curbed, but if that side looks fine, have a buddy do the same for the passenger side, or have them follow you and watch your wheels. Or, you can jack up and support the rearend with stands and let it idle in gear while you look at both sides spinning.

Bent the axle, get her up in the air and check it out. Probably need new wheel and rear axle bearings and seal, plus axle and rear differential lube.

crud. Its on the rear passenger side. If it is a bent axle would i need to replace the entire axle? Someone else mentioned a bent axle shaft?

So the passenger side didn't pass the wobble test? Yes, you can replace just the right side axle.
But first swap wheels from side to side. If it still has the wobble, it's the axle. If not, you tweaked the wheel.

Thanks for the response, i put the donut on once it wobbled still. I did put it on the lift and let it spin, it had a averry very minor wobble like unnoticeable almost. No creaking sound when the weight was taken off the car. Maybe i shouldve put the donut on the lifted it up to see if it wobbles?. Not sure what it could be still, may have to take it to a shop. Not trying to pay an arm and leg for something that could be a minor personal fix.
