Thumbs up Greetings! 35th Anniversary Edition Question

So My in-laws have a 2002 Z28 that they literally never drive, it's only got about 3000 miles on it. It says "35th Anniversary Edition" on the dashboard. I've looked up the 35th Anniversary Edition and it only mentiones a t-top version with stripes. "Outlaw" (the car) is a jet black coupe with chevy chrome rims that I've never seen on any other Camaro. No t-top. No stripes. No red paint. The car was bought brand new at a dealership.

My question to the Camaro Pro's here is, are there variations to the 35th Anniversary edition? Does this description sound familiar to you guys?

I'm thinking of entering it in a Show'N'Shine car show later this month at a client's BBQ and would like to know the specifics behind this beast.

edit: found the rims on an image search. These are them, and it's a Z28, but theirs is not a t-top:

P.S. I never had a true appreciation for muscle cars until I drove this bad boy. I love every square inch of it.

Edit: I found a picture of the rims on an image search, theirs has these rims, is a Z28, but is not a t-top...

A lot of people stuck 35th anniversary badges on the dash because it was built in 2002.

Real anniversary edition:

All 2002 Camaros had the 35th dash plague; my 2002 base model V6 did. It is not a "true" 35th anniversary package and really means nothing. Those chrome wheels were an option, my old V6 had the same rims just alloy.

Did the '97 30th Anniversary Editions also have a special paint scheme?

That answers my question. Thanks!

So then it's a regular Z28 with upgraded optional chrome rims.

you probably have just a 97 camaro. they put the anniversary logo on the seats and mats but that was it. it was an option to get the anniversary edition which was the white interior (houndstooth optional) and then you got the artic white and hugger orange stripes. also in 97 the anniversary could only be a ss or z28. so no v6 camaros had the paint job from the factory.
