Well I have finally convinced my dad to get a supercharger for my Camaro, this is the one were getting, http://www.motorsporttech.com/fbody_...nduction01.asp its the second one, and hes gonna get the one with the aftercooler and polished finish. i am so glad and cant wait for this, o and its going in the shop to get the paint fixed on monday and were gonna get a ram air hood for it to, its gonna be something fierce

 

wow, $6,500 thats a nice chunk of change there, nice unit, but you could buy a gm crate for that much and be pushin around 550-600 hp N/A compared to 450-475 with the supercharger.

I don't want to belittle anyone or be rude, but come on kids. Bust some wrenches and flex your brain by building a bigger motor or crate like was mention earlier by shaker, i mean really some guy who put his money where his mouth is by dropping a better motor in is going to knock you in the dirt unfortunatly those guys don't prowl the streets with these beasts for you to see them so go check out the guys at your local track or better yet take a ride in your grandpa's hotrod and you shall see the power of displacement.....THEN put a sick supercharger and make EVERYONE shut their mouth's about your ride, get it? good see you'll get the hang of it sooner or later, better get handy with a micrometer fast

 

Is 140 hp really worth 6 grand you can find better ways to spend that money and make way more power you should do some research on some of your options so you dont waste your money and go get spanked by some all motor foriegn job. But hey its your daddy whos buying it so who cares right.

You can get the same hp gains from full bolt ons and a heads and cam swap. For that kind og $$ I would go turbo.

 

I wonder if the remote turbo kit is worth darn?

ive only heard good things about the remote turbo's, except you only can only have the exhaust on 1 side of the car not duals, but that makes it look even more like a sleeper.
