Is this a good deal for springs?
I found a brand new set of Eibach springs (pro-kit) for 130$ +10$ for shipping.
Seems like a pretty good deal right?
I have an 02 Z28 and I don't drag race. I don't race at all. I'm more of a drive fast up a windy mountain road kind of guy. Will these springs fit my needs?
I really didn't want to lower the car since I have some true duals that hurt ground clearance. But the springs lower 1.2 inch they say.
So should I get em?
Thanks

are they for a v6 or v8? is a good deal if you want to lower the car. does not mean it will handle better. what other improvements have you made to the suspension. high quality shocks will make a world of difference. better sway bars are a big one to and if you want more subframe connectors, shock tower brace and better rear lower control arms will do it. .

It is the V8 kit. And I'm looking for better handling at a good price. 130 just seemed like a really good deal for better handling. I was just about to buy Founders sub-frame connectors, lower control arms, and pan-hard bar when I stumbled on this. Shocks and stuff are more down the road...

Let me just stop everyone here. DO NOT GET LOWERING SPRINGS. I had them same springs. A camaro is low enough. The last owner had them put on and now because of them the car has issues from bottoming out all the time. The power steering leaks, The bottom of my car looks like crap my bolra exhaust is beat to hell. My oil pan took a beating to. No matter how slow you drive over bumps it will still hit the ground. DONT DO IT. I replaced them with stock springs and the car rides like a dream now

I rarely have issues with bottoming out, only on the sharp speed bumps. Sounds like you didn't get supporting mods with springs. I have eibach pros on the fronts and vogtlands on the back with KYB AGX on all 4 corners. I also have lca relocations and an adj panhard bar to compensate for the geometry change.

I decided not to get them for a couple reasons. Just google the part number and look for the lowest price... I forgot the website name. When I had lowering springs in my V6 I didn't bottom out unless I was somewhere that I shouldn't have been (off road shtuff) but then again I would have bottomed out anyways.
I basically heard from a lot of people that it isn't worth it unless I get aftermarket shocks (which I'm not gonna do) So I'll just wait
