Good deal?
Actually most places go by the NADA guidbook for how much a car is worth. Everyone from low ball dealers and insurance companies. From what I found the "low retail" from NADA is $6,850 and high is $9,125 so if you paid $6,800 for the car and total it at least you know the insurance agency will pay for it. If anyone has their doubts about this go ahead and ask the insurance people. They're the initial people who told me about it and then a good friend of mine that has a lot let me in on it.
