Had lots of help today, Katelyn (15) and Becca (11). Cool temps and lots of sun makes for lots of progress. They worked hard and finally was able to lift the body off the engine. Dad carefully supervised and put the extra effort into breaking some of the bolts loose and watching to ensure no one smashed a finger.

Yep, they are family. It's Katelyns car and we are hoping to it ready for her to drive by the time she gets her permit. Depends on the grades on the report card!

 

just put a treadmill under there and you got yourself a car that would probably get some good gas mileage haha. always good to see a couple of girls turning wrenches, good that they know how to do some basic work on their car to save them tons of money down the road.

 

Awesome! Ive been doing the same thing with my 4 yr old little girl, nothing quite that involved yet but she can tell wrenches apart. good on ya!
