Good Clutch Suggestions...for GOOD PRICE
I havea 2000 Camaro SS, all Stock but with Factory installed Corvette exhaust. My transmission seems to be loosing it's synchros, and I'm going to have the tranny serviced, however, since they'll have the tranny down, I'm going to have them replace the clutch to save in later labor costs.
I have been doing research on clutches, but there are no user reviews to help so I hope someone out there can help...this seems like a pretty active forum.
I would like a clutch that is a good performer, but not cost me an arm and a leg. something with ratings from stock OEM status to hold up to 500 HP. (incase I do a few bolt on mods in the next year or two)
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Brad

RE: Good Clutch Suggestions...for GOOD PRICE
Well I recently replaced my clutch with a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch, and couldn't be happier. The install wasn't bad either (first time for a clutch change). As for price, depending on how much and arm and leg cost...they range from 390-600, depending on what type or application, the dual friction works well for me. I ordered mine from summit racingand if you're looking its real easy to price out on their site as well as other brands.
