its a 1995 camaro z28

body has 188k miles and new rebuilt engine has under 20k miles

i actually went down to look it out and test drive it. shift fine, good ride and brakes did what they were spossed to do. it does still have the original tranny. no rust whatsoever (at least thats what he said, dont know about that primer). t tops (dont leak), flowmaster exhaust

the only thing bad i could find was the interior. 2 tears in the drivers seat (cloth interior) and a couple of cracks on the dash. nothing else.

talked him down at all he will go is 2700. do you guys think its a good buy?

thanks

I would say yes if he has the documentation for the engine replacement. I would be a little afraid of a trans out of an lt1 with 188k on it though. I would sent that out to paint though, looks like a rattle can job.

great buy you can find trannys all day long and they are easy to swap the good news is isense it is a cross over year between obd1 and obd2 then the computer is obd1 and there arnt a ton of sensors to worry about plus the hood is an ss hood which is easily 300 bucks and a good lt1 is about a grand top that off with the decent rims then yeah its a good and safe buy cause you can either fix cheap or part it out and make your money back and keep the exhaust

well all he said about the engine rebuild is that he re-did the heads, original pistons and all that stuff. he said he went to school for automotive and works at a repair shop

What does that mean? Did he rebuild/refresh the whole engine, or just the heads?

Those wheels aren't worth $2000. I would ask him to include the stock wheels instead, but thats just me. Those wheels don't look good IMO.
