gears?

i no to never buy a set of used gears but theres this website racejunk.com and i found a set of richmond 4:10 gears that r proper for my car and there $100 so if he tells me that they werent used would u say i should buy them?

I don't see why not. Get them set up by a professional if you don't have the tools to shim etc. yourself.

I've heard 4:11 gears new cost about a grand, that might be with installation though

yea cuz them richmond gear brand new wit the install kit r i think 340

I used summit's house brand ring and pinion kit, and their installation kit too. Was about $250 or something total. Can't remember off the top of my head.

That mechanic must be awfully proud of his work... Last time I did gears, total was $450-500 for parts and labor.
