I have a 98 Camaro 3.8Lv6 had most of the lower engine rebuilt and been having some problems still. One thing that just came across is that I can smell gas in the oil, like on the dip stick. I know there are a million reasons why there could be gas in the oil. Can someone help by telling me the most likely reason an how to fix it. Thanks!

 

there are some different things that will cause this, first things first you need to change your oil and get that diluted stuff out, the problem is from your car running rich so your getting some blowby. it could be from a dripping injector, bad engine coolant temp sensor, is your check engione light on?
