Default Fuel pump issues

Well true to history my car has blown another fuel pump (I average one a year)
Every time it gets hot my car is
A Vapor locking and blowing pumps
B Doing something else heat related and blowing pumps

Symptoms
When it's hot (95 plus) Pump gets very loud and eventually the car starts sputtering and cuts off
when it starts sputtering I can mash the pedal up and down rapidly to keep it alive a few minutes, and after it cuts off if I wait a few minutes it will sputter run for a minute or two, It quit today and after limping it to work I let it sit 4 hours then drove an hour home no issue.

Halp plz respond, But seriously whats going on here guys? Stock everything fuel related

This might be a weird question, but what kind of exhaust do you have? Is it sitting right there on the bottom of the gas tank?
Have you checked to make sure the evap system is working properly?

Eh. not on it per say, but it does vent under the car, I'll route it out.
Dunno what evap is. but probably not, the previous owner put a little heat wrap on the fuel lines so i'm thinking this isn't a new deal, I just put clothes pins on the fuel line and rails at my grandfathers advice. Hope it helps

There is really little chance for vapor lock when using an in tank fuel pump as installed in you car. I suspect a problem with the gas tank venting (EVAP system), or a screwed up fuel pressure regulator.

Okay, I'll try to both figured out in the next day or two, I can drive it for a while before the pump burns out, I've got one ordered already.

Don't know if you do, but if you're in the habit of driving around with the tank on fumes, that'll shorten the life of the fuel pump. Being submerged in gas has a cooling effect on the motor.

Also, dont skimp out on a good pump. GM factory Delhi is a good pump.

Well I've been keeping the motor around 180 instead of the normal pavement melting 215 and the pumps been fine, hasn't made a noise. Hopefully it'll hold over till it gets cold

Running red lights and running the heater full flipping blast, took out the underhood insulation and removed the hood vents. I was thinking of keeping the hood popped driving around town but that seems dangerous.
