sounds pretty good, how old is the muffler, can't tell if it the recording or real but i could hear it hissing, compressed air sound, if you want you can try unhooking the exhaust/muffler, just disconnect and pull lose don't have to take it out. so long as theres a opening for exhaust to get out. then take it for a sort trip and see if anything changes.

You are going to have a real tuff time figuring out out a fuel injection problem like this without being able to scan it. Back in the day the manauls a assumed you did not have a scan tool but now a days it is kind of assumed. Heck the PCM could be in LIMP Home mode because of a PCM issue for all you know.

The 94 3.4 is a speed density system? (No MAF) If so this makes MAP, Air temp and O2s absolutely critical it how the motor runs. If it has a MAF try disconnectiong it and drive it. Also if a EGR valve is stuck open it can kill MPG and power.

There is a MAF sensor on it. Guy must have been retarded and wired it in after cutting the old one out apparently since the wiring is spliced together for the connector. Thinking it might have a vacuum leak too since i havent found and replaced all the lines yet.

Vacuum leak should give you a high idle. If you add air to the intake the EFI system will add the fuel. It just like stepping on the gas. Bigger the leak the higher the RPMs. Try disconnecting the MAF sensor and see if the motor runs worse or better. Since this will put the motor in LHM try doing it when it is not super cold. If the motor runs better then you know the MAF circuit is the issue.

Unplugged the maf..... runs about the same. Map sensor i think was changed out before because the back bracket is flopping around on it along with it being loose.
