Default Front End Swap

I am interested in doing a front end swap on my 1994 Z28 only because I need better lighting. I live in an area where there are a lot of country roads and my light set-up just isn't doing it for me. What all would I need to make it happen and how difficult is it?

IMHO, either buy a newer Camaro with the new body style, or get the HID kit that has new housings for your current style headlamps:

"93-97 Camaro, Complete HID Kit Incl. Lense Hsngs. 55W "
Speed Inc - Pure Power

I agree with liberty get an hid kit. Much cheaper and alot less hassle. A conversion you need to find a whole front end. To buy parts new you'd be looking at over $1000. To find it used can be around $500

Unless you can find a seller parting out a later Camaro, where you could get the whole front clip for a cheap price, you would be far better off getting some better lights that would fit your front clip.

It is more involved than just swapping fenders and headlights.

Maybe just maybe if you took the blackout headlight mod off, your headlights would be brighter?

They have nothing to do with it. I put them on after I decided the lights sucked and it didn't matter either way.

Seriously wtf is this stuff? To me it looks like a practical joke and it always will be unless it really is true stuff.

These first model forth gen lights blow chunks. Best thing to get are the hid lights. Everyone says they are awesome. plus they are plug n play. Much easier. Chaotic got his for $40. That's dirt cheap. But good quality ones are around $150+. You just need you low beam and if you want high beam set with some 8000k bulbs or higher and you can see alot better. Then pick up some rtv sealer and twist out the lame bulbs out of the light housing and put the hids in and some rtv sealer around the outside edge to seal it back up. It'll make a Huge difference. And it's must cheaper and alot less work. A front end swap you need the whole front end. Light clip, brackets, fenders, bumper, bumper cover and lights. Then you need time to paint it, remove the old stuff and install the new stuff.
