ok! did it! i thought i was F'd for awhile when the thread chaser wasnt working. in my last efforts i used a huge screwdriver and pryed the back of the socket wrench and put ALOT of pressure to make the thread chaser dig in. It worked! spark plug went right in and now there is no more leaking past the plug and it runs smooth!!!! now i gotta put antifreeze in so that the coolant temp doesnt rise up so high

doesnt take long for them to get stuck on aluminum. if your getting new headers your gona want to heat them up (run for a few days) to burn off the coating on the inside, then change the 02 sensors. the burnt coating can foul the 02s.

yea, ive heard that is true. stinks. maybe i can get past that somehow!
since my new headers wont be using the 2 rear most o2 sensors. could i use those 2 on the headers until the coating burns off, then ill install the 2 original?

Since you plan on changing the plugs in the near future, I wouldn't worry about it.
And when referring to copper, platinum, or iridium, you're talking about the core of the spark plug (the part that carries electricity).
The threaded body of the copper spark plug is still made of steel like the other kinds are.
