Default Flowmasters I might have made a mistake.

I just ordered a set of Pacesetter Headers and a Flowmaster exhuast system for my 97. I was checking out the sound of the Flowmasters on youtube and all I can say is I hope what I have ordered sounds better than what I just seen. I have had Flowmaster on cars in the past and loved the sound they made, but from what I see the Flowmasters on LT1 Camaros sound like a blown out Cherrybomb ugh. Guess I should have looked before I leaped.

Everything is gonna sound off unless it was done with professional recording equipment, chances of that? 0 to 1 percent

Yeah, don't trust videos at all. I did a clip of my car, and all I can say is when watching it, it doesn't sound anything like it does in real life.

I'm with everybody else. Don't trust the videos. You should be just fine with the Flowmasters. I have some friends running LT1s with Flowmaster systems, and they sound good.

any car with headers sound good. I know some people with flows and long tubes on a lt1 and it sounds good with stock pipes

I have pacesetter longtubes, with y-pipe, no cats, and flowmaster...sounds awesome. I have a different cam and valve train and sounds even better. I think you will be happy.

4th generation F-bodies sound good. Period. Unless you replace your muffler with a garbage disposal, your car should sound better than 99% of vehicles on the road.

Thanks for all the responses. I appreciate it. Guess when I get back and install the system I will know for sure.

Unless you have a 3.8L the flowmasters will sound good. With the 3.8L you get too much rasp!
