Ingot my alternator checked, and it needed replacing.

New one got me all fixed up

 

start the car and disconnect both battery cables if the car doesnt stall alts good if it does stall call autozone and see if they got one in stock sit in your car have someone else undo the batt and watch the volts gauge it should drop a little but no more than about an 1/8 of an inch

 

you can damage the alternator doing this. can also cause the battery to blow if u reconnect while running.
