I need a sanity check. I'm getting so lost in mods that I'm buried and don't know what to start with. I've found things from a targa top, body kits, to clear lenses, to wheels, exhaust, seats, paint, decals, tires, turbos, engines, springs, shocks, sway bars, rear ends, front end conversions, AHH! Reverting back to my first goal, this thing is mechanically sound, needs no work. I want to make it look better visually, but without stepping back into my ricer shoes hanging in the closet. I'm having trouble telling what I should do first. Here's my plan as it sits: This color is very bright, and I wanted to tone it down. I thought about painting my roof black with a very slight teal metallic in it. I like this targa top I found, and would paint it in the factory teal. Then I found a aftermarket rs rs style 3pc wing set. My car is titled as an RS, so I would get the badges too. Then I would buy some black 17" rims with the polished lip, and put a chrome trim piece around the fender wells. Now for hoods. There's so much to chose from, I don't even know where to start. I'm a big carbon fiber fan (was a ricer). If I got a cowl hood, I could paint the sides of the hood, but leave the scoop exposed. That's where I want to stop (for now). I have plans to build a v6, and do a lot of suspension work, but everything is fine right now for my purposes.

First set of wheels Rogue I think. I like them, and have thought about getting some myself.
I'm not fond of that hood.
Spoiler isn't bad.
Badges would be aight.

I have that spoiler on my car, 97 Z28. It looks awesome. It's not at all gaudy, makes it look meaner and looks different then most Camaros. It was on my car when I bought it, I wasn't sure if it was aftermarket or not, but I know it looks sporty. That's a definate yes.

 

I like it too. It's not too much, just right.

Everything but the targa top or w/e looked good. That targa top looks like something off a Honda Del Sol.

i like tail light blackouts, umm dont get anything that covers the back window, its either 80'sish or ricey, maybe some dark tint on the windows an rs spoiler and badges. i like the nose emblem too.

 

That's where I seem to be going. The good part is that I won't be spending $800 on the targa top. I thought if I painted the louvers teal, maybe they would look better. But I think I'm just going to get the darkest legal tint I can. I can't do the tail light blackout, if I could, I would have a while ago. The cops out here love to look for anything that obscurs your tail lights. Even if it's legal, you still get a ticket. I'm not in the mood to fight the court because of tail light tint. I will get some differant lights, but that's in the future. I'm plenty happy with the originals. Haven't heard any comments on my roof idea, what do y'all think?
