I got some things in it fixed today, but .. after I got out of work I saw a HUGE puddle of coolant under the car.

It's at the shop for tomorrow .. the mechanic fears radiator tank cracking. It begins.

both the water pump and opti had been previously replaced so .. yeah. He got under the car and he made his guess based on what he saw.

I just spent $340 on the car replacing interior parts, then this.

I hate to say it man, but get used to it. These cars are such a love hate relationship. And I know with mine it always seems to do good when I'm doing good, but then it brakes at the worst of times. Never been anything to bad, but still hurts.

Like I have said in posts previous, I fully expect to have issues .. it's a used sports car with a ton of miles .. I just didn't want them so soon or all at once, and it felt like that today.

onward I go .. just poorer for the wear.

Im gunna have him do some tests, make sure I know that the issue is, then go from there. I also have acquired a parts car, well .. I am related to a guy that owns a towing and auto business and he has one .. so I have one.

I will assess the situation tomorrow and move forward. I also have an in of sorts, the guy that did my interior work also owns a radiator shop and is really good friend with my boss, so I could work a deal out with him too .. maybe even get by with it costing just parts.

I am just a nervous wreck. My baby threw up all over the parking lot at work .. it makes a parent sad to see their child sick.

Sounds as if Kiko's getting a new rad in the morning.

... hopefully he is done before I wanted to hit the road and see a friend. The timing here is just wrong.

yeah I know how that goes. My transmission stopped shifting out of 3rd in the middle of my 700-mile road trip to Indianapolis this summer.
