its a 01 3.8 v6 convertable, everything base

looking to buy my first upgrade, what im looking for is to go faster and sound cooler doing it, only looking to spend no more than about $450 or less, what should i buy? would like to know the part(s) brand model price etc if u have it on hand

start with a intake upgrade like a slp. that will only leave about 300. not quite unough to get a new exhaust but u may find a used borla or magnaflow for that. could save for a while and pick up a cat back exhaust. whens the last time it has had new spark plugs. how are the plug wires looking. that may also be something that will help performance.

i just replaced the plugs a few months ago, and is this the intake system u meen?

u have a less restrictive stock air cleaner than my 93 but i noticed a big difference with the cai on mine. i would think u would notice it. do a search on the forum and see what kind of info u get.

First SLP CAI, Whisper Lid and oilable air filter (SLP is better than K&Ns). Next I would focus on handling, esp. if it's a daily driver.

where is the whisper lid sold? i cant find it
