NO! The WS6 is the Pontiac version of an SS. Both the SS and the Firehawk were shipped to SLP to have them put on performance and appearance parts, so the Firehawk is actually more closely related to an SS than a WS6. Chevy did not offer a WS6 type package that was from the Chevy package, they shipped them all off to SLP. The Firebird Formula has the body of a regular Firebird, but has the V8 motor, it's the budget V8 Pontiac F-Body.

Because Chevy didn't want to make one I guess...you could get the 1LE package, but it wasn't too common because it had the suspension upgrades, but unlike the WS6 it didn't look any different and it had a stripped down interior to reduce weight because it was for "Extreme Performance Enthusiasts Only" in 93 and 94 it didn't even come with A/C.

 

They do, its called a Corvette. My guess is that Pontiac didnt have alot goin for it back then where as chevy had the camaro and the corvette... dude... i dropped my easter egg nerd... and now i cant find it..

you forgot the Firebird GT. Witch is the same as the RS Camaro.

 

Altough the Firebird GT was pretty much just a y87 Firebird, all GTs had GU6 and G80, but then there were non-GTs that came y87 equipped, like my Firebird

 

i thought there was another sixxer pontiac. and seriously? the Firehawk = SS? the firehawk is like way out of the SS price range though, and the WS6 is about the same price range
