I know a kid who says he knows a kid that owns a 4th genFirebird (not Trans Am) with a 383 and 6spd that come from the factory and has all kinds of horsepower. Is this a Firehawk or what? I didnt think firehawks came with 383s but the kid claims it came with a 383.

 

i dont think ANY 4th gen (LT or LS) came with a 383.

The Firehawk was the SLP modified version of the Firebird, so it's an SS with different body panels. You could get all the same SLP options. Very few (29) Firehawks were equipt with the LT4 and they were only produced in 1997. No 4th Gen F-Body ever came from the factory with a 383.

Firehawk is like.. even better, but im pretty sure it's only apperance parts.

im pretty sure theres a firebird v6 version of the RS too.
