fairly bad clunk in rear
Just wondering would cause a clunk in the rear, I've looked at the end links already and they look ok. Should be lifting the car within the next couple days but want to know what to look for. Any diagrams of the rear kicking around? The sound is a near constant over very light bumps, metal to metal. possibly spring mounts?

how old are the shocks? can you tell where is coming from under your seat or in back of you? im assuming its from the back. first check your jack to make sure its secured and tight, very common. look over the bushings on your lower control arms for any losness or damage. look at the bushings on the panhard bar as well. check for any lose bolts including lug nuts.

Check this first. I was chasing a mystery clunk for about three weeks once and I found out it was this all along. Thankfully I didn't put any money into the car before I found it, but it would be even more of a heartache to spend a bunch of money trying to fix a clunk when all you had to do was re secure your jack and spare.
So I took a quick look tonight. opened the trunk and found the jack loose but that wasnt the issue.. lifted the rear passenger side, removed the wheel and it seems to be something to do with the park brake shoe. just seems to be jiggling around. not quite sure what to get to fix it though.
Any ideas? Thanks for the input

Take it apart, find what's worn out or broken, and replace it. Yeah I know, you could write a complete repair manual with such helpful info, and them's the cliff notes!
Really, from here, it's gonna be hard to tell what your brakes need. Maybe show some pics if you're not sure what you're looking at.
