what kind should i get? i read that sombody wanted a cat back on their ss and pete says its already as good as it gets, that dont apply to my 95 z28 right?!!! thanks
o yea and pete, are you a machanic or somthing? Ive been on many car forums and youre the smartest person with cars!!! thanks for all the help!!!

You are out of luck with the Z28 model. The exhaust isn't too bad, but the factory decided to needed a restriction at the Y portion of the Y pipe (not visible from the outside), and where the tail pipe goes over the rear axle. So in your case, a cat back system and even some good Y pipes will be helpful. Better yet, a set of long tube headers to go with the cat back. Performance wise all systems are about the same, but they differ in material and sound "quality".
