What do you think is a better sounding exhaust magnaflow or SLP.I kind of like both of them but im leaning towards the sound of magnaflow. Also where can I get the best price. I see ebay has a magnaflow for $322 shipped.

i prefer magnaflow on lt1's and slp on the ls1's imo

 

I'm not much of a fan of the SLP system, I think it has some really wierd resonance points that make it sound like crap. I'd go Magnaflow.

 

SLP is just doo friggin loud. im a much bigger fan of magnaflow, plus SLP is overpriced IMO

i must say if you want loud and insane, go SLP if you want, moderate and tamed go magna flow

but i dont regret for a second getting the LM1 =]

I had planned on making my car really loud when I got an ls1 but i also wanted to do a full exhaust with lt's and a y, but i kept reading how lm1 is only good by itself, when youadd LT's it supposedlysounds really bad. So i just bought a Z28 and it has a magnaflow catback-only on it and it actually sounds pretty decent. probably will soudn a lot better with lt's and high flow cats.

I'd like to hear an ls1 with a full lm1 exhaust in person, the sound clips on ls1sounds.com make it hard to tell. Some of those clips just sounds like someones making popcorn

 

just gut the cat. then youll be able to beat dodge vipers ughhhhhhhhh
