Exhaust?

Default Exhaust?

I had a 94 Z28 with aftermarket exhaust and i wrecked and totaled it and now own a 98 Z28 and want to know if the exhaust off of my 94 will bolt up to my 98. i know they are the same block , but i didn't know what the underbody would intail. Please let me know if u really know. Thanks

94 and 98 are entirely different dude, nothing will just "bolt up". Your 94 had an LT1 and the 98 is gonnna be an LS1.... two very different engines..

well i know what motors i have and i just wanted to know if they would have the same exhaust manifolds? but thanks for the advice.

Just because they have 2 different motors doesn't mean that the exhaust is going to be completely different...You would be able to salvage your cat-back and that's about it, the Y-pipe and manifolds are different between the two engines.

correct, all he would have to do is cut and do some welding or get and exhaust clamp to hold it together, i would recomend welding it as there would be no exhaust leaks

he should be able to use the aftermarket exhaust as far the muffler and the tips. i used a hooker aero chamber muffler exhaust off a 2001 z28 camaro and but it on my 1993 z28 camaro. so that should work.

the left cat is tucked up and hard to see just by looking at it, the right is about 8 inches to where the y pipe merges
