I have had a few incidences where the engine light on my 95 v6 camaro will come on for either a few minutes or a few days then go off. this has been going on for about 3 weeks now. the car seems to run fine and all but I was just curious if anyone has had this dilemma. Or what could make the engine light come one then go off just a little bit later. any info would be good. thanks

 

Could not tell you off the top of my head since I cant drive it my self and see what is going on. There are quite afew sensors and situations that can cause this. Get your codes read and let us know what they are.

If I would have to guess I would say it is an o2 heater code since it goes away after a few minutes when the sensors would be warmed up. Now that that was said dont just go out and buy new O2 sensors cause Massey said. Get the codes read to know for sure!!

agree^^^ call around and try to find a local parts store thatll scann your car for trouble codes. let them know its a 95 v6. write down the codes (numbers) and let us know what they are.
