Electrical issues?
I have a 95 V6 standard.
I've done alot of work to the car recently. Welding the floor, taking the tranny out twice for rebuild, took the interior apart and put it back together. Changed the top-end of the engine.
My issues are as follows:
- When changing the air flow on the HVAC it always blows out of the top of the dash no matter what I change it to.
- Third brake light doesn't work after changing the bulbs.
Does the wiring from the 3rd brake light go under the drivers side carpet? I'm wondering if I messed up a wire when I was welding?

3rd brake light wiring runs along the driver's side rocker panel then up the sail to the center of the roof. After that it goes through the plug to the hatch along the driver's side of the hatch then to a plug near the wing mount. It is possible that you could have damaged it welding yes.
The HVAC system uses vacuum to move the doors. So that being said make sure all the little black vacuum lines have been reconnected and also make sure they are connected to the vacuum canister that is on the frame rail below the battery. This vacuum line likes to disappear into the wiring harness in places so alot of the time it seems to be hidden.

Thanks alot Massey. I figured it was those wires that go along the drivers side sill. I'll have to check it out. I'll verify the vacuum lines too. I did so much to the car that these little things are bound to happen!
