thats like asking whats better, a Sierra or Silverado. Its based on what you want your car to do. You want to track race it, daily drive it, have it ride like a Cadillac, slightly lower stance, Joe-Dirt style, drag racing, turn it into a monster truck, and so on. Everyone is going to have their own preference on what shock to run.

On a V8, put some Koni SAs in all four, and if you have to be lowered - Strano Springs, and then Strano 35/22 hollow sways... Then for a cherry on top -- Watts Link to replace your panhard bar. Oh, don't forget welded SFRs and a Strut Brace.

Lastly, with your 18"s I hope you have some good bump stops, and jounce spacers...

Seriously though, you need some adjustable shocks, and possibly different springs.
