Default dyno

has anyone dyno'd there car on here whyle it was pretty much stock...lt1 that is. 96 - 97...id lyke to know what we actually put to the ground stock

Check the LT1 section, the car was a '93 so you should be putting down more than he is.

cool, how much more you think ill be gettin? if i dont tint my windows im prolly gonna go this week and dyno, a place here does 3 runs and tune for $70 on dynojet

Should be in the low to mid 200s. Your looking around 230-250 to the ground if i am not mistaken.

well the 93 in the lt1 section was puttin 264 and 301...and shouldnt i be putting more than that

GM claims you should be making 10 crank HP more, only a real dyno can ell the truth!

Be careful on which brand dyno is used. For some reason, the Dynojet dyno usually gives higher readings than the Mustang dyno. Not that it really makes any difference, but when comparing and nitpicking about the readings, the same machine and the same operator should be used.

It may be a bit higher. But some where in the mid 200 should be about right. 264 sounds a little bit high for a bone stock LT1. Not to say that it might not be a factory freak.

also, is there any need for me to do a tune on a stock car or would that help anything? or should i just make a pass and get the numbers
