Good Day,

Some vandles smashed my driver's outside mirror, and I have to replace the glass. How can I replace just the glass? The motor seems to be okay, it still pans up and down, side to side just fine.

I know about the screw on the inside and the three bolts to take off the whole housing, but I just need to get to the glass.

My ride is a 1995 Z28 with Six speed manual and LT1 Engine.

 

A company on e-bay sell just the replacement mirror glass and the instructions are "just remove loose glass and silicone glue the replacement over it" . Otherwise it is going to cost you more then the $20 got the above fix.
